Strong public education is key to Wisconsin’s future. Our public schools must be fully funded. With proper funding our teachers have what they need and our children can thrive.

Every Wisconsinite deserves clean air, safe drinking water, and healthy soils. We must work so that our air is not polluted, water is not filled with PFAS or lead, and our soils can grow crops.

It is clear that our environment is important to the 17th Senate District. We have 14 state parks, nine Farmer-led Watershed Protection Groups, and received hundreds of Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Grants. I will work with our farmers and industries for solutions to climate change that protect our district.

Wisconsin has a strong agricultural history. From the sprawling fields in the south to the rolling fields in the north, that is no different in our district. Supporting our family farms is critical to our economy, our history, and thriving rural communities.

Every Wisconsinite should have access to quality, affordable health care. This includes mental health care and dental care. Our district has a strong network of hospitals, clinics, and nursing homes. We must keep that network strong so that no matter where you are in our district, you can get health care.

Everyone deserves quality, affordable housing. This means that the seniors who built our communities can afford to live in them. And it means that our children can afford to live nearby after they graduate from high school or college. With layered government requirements and complicated financing, building housing is not simple.

Everyone should have the right to choose if and when to have a family. From IVF to abortion, every woman should be able to access every healthcare option available to her. Politicians have no place in your doctor's office.
