Our district has rich farmland, the beautiful Driftless region, and many watersheds. In recent years, we have seen more damage to our communities from extreme weather. 

In the Assembly, I coauthored many climate forward pieces of legislation. The Green Amendment would guarantee that every Wisconsinite has clean air, safe drinking water, and healthy soils. I coauthored protections for our pollinators, a rotational grazing program, and increased funding for watershed protection groups. I also advocated for the release of the $125 million to remove PFAS from our drinking water.

Every Wisconsinite deserves clean air, safe drinking water, and healthy soils. As your senator, I will fight for policies that protect our district and the state. This includes supporting the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Fund and funding farmer-led Watershed Protection Grants.
